At MacEwen Agricentre, we are deeply saddened by the loss of our esteemed Sales Manager for the Crop Division, John Vanderspank. John was an integral part of our team, bringing over 20 years of agricultural sales experience to MacEwen when he joined us in 2013. His dedication, expertise, and passion for the industry made him an invaluable asset to our company and the farming community in the Ottawa valley.
Funeral Information:
It is with heavy hearts that we share the funeral information for John Vanderspank. The funeral service will be held on May 31st, 2024 at John’s Shop located at 2567 Ferguson Falls Road in Lanark, ON where family and friends will gather from 11:30am until his memorial service at 1:30pm.
We understand the importance of honoring John’s memory and supporting his family during this difficult time. In light of this, the Crop Division at MacEwen Agricentre will be closed on Friday, May 31st, to allow our team to attend the funeral and pay their respects.
Remembering John’s Contributions:
John’s impact on our company and the farming community cannot be overstated. He was a great leader and mentor to his sales team and everyone who worked with him. As the Sales Manager for our Crop Division, he played a crucial role in overseeing the purchasing, pricing, and inventory of seeds, chemicals, and liquid starters. His expertise and practical point of view were invaluable to our customers, as he shared his personal experiences of farming his own land.
A Heartfelt Tribute:
John’s warm personality, genuine care for his customers, and willingness to go above and beyond will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him. His passion for the industry and his dedication to helping farmers succeed were evident in every interaction.
