RECOGNIZING 25 Years of Service – Joel Beauchesne
From starting at our old St-Isidore feed mill in 1997 as a truck washer, he worked his way up to become our Feed Mill Manager and has since been overseeing all feed mill operations for the past 10 years. Joel has always been involved in the agriculture community from growing up on a dairy farm to purchasing his own poultry farm in 2004. He is a hardworking and dedicated employee who knows the value of quality feed and the impact it can have on overall animal health and productivity.
We are proud to say that he is a valued member of the MacEwen Agricentre Family and look forward to many more years working together.
RECOGNIZING 25 Years of Service – Normand Leduc
Norm started his employment with us at the St-Isidore feed mill as a truck driver delivering bulk feed and bags. He takes great pride in his work and always goes that extra mile to provide exceptional customer service. The work he has provided over the years will forever be the building blocks of what made MacEwen Agricentre the greatest agricultural feed provider in Eastern Ontario.
We sincerely thank you for your hard work and dedication year after year. Without your contribution, we would not be where we are today.
RECOGNIZING 15 Years of Service – Andrew MacGregor
Andrew started his career with MacEwen Agricentre in the crop department and upon completion of building our new feed mill in 2011, he started working at the mill where his position evolved to Production Supervisor in 2021. His knowledge of the feed mill and its functionality is unparalleled, and his positivity is reflected in his team’s performance.
Congratulations on reaching this milestone, and all others that are yet to come.
RECOGNIZING 10 Years of Service – Ron Metcalfe
Although we are recognizing 10 years of service, Ron has contributed to MacEwen Agicentre’s success since a young age when he worked seasonally for the late Mr. Bill MacEwen. After a 30-year career in the tech industry, he came out of semi-retirement to develop our Quality Control department for FeedAssure compliance and is now taking on the role of Inventory Control. He is meticulous in his work and has been a key member of ensuring that quality of our feed is our top priority.
The work that Ron has put in these past ten years are forever etched in the history of this company.
RECOGNIZING 10 Years of Service – Willard Whitmore
Willard was born and raised on his family’s dairy farm and after becoming a truck driver, he combined his passion for driving with his passion for agriculture. Although he is primarily one of our grain drivers, he is a “jack of all trades” and is always ready and willing to give a helping hand in any department where he is needed.
Willard is the definition of a reliable employee, and we are lucky to have him as a part of the team.
RECOGNIZING 15 Years of Service – Fernand Bazinet
For the past 15 years Fern has been working for MacEwen Agricentre seasonally ensuring safe and efficient deliveries as well as the maintenance of our yard. He is very meticulous in his maintenance of the property and has been a major contribution to the success at our Vars location. Although he is now retired, he continues to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Fernand is the image of commitment and takes pride in his work. We owe him an immense amount of gratitude for his contribution to our continued success.
Thank you to all of the above employees for their dedication to MacEwen Agricentre and for contributing to its growth and success.
